G.S. Sareen, an international entrepreneur from India, is a fine wine enthusiast with a passion for Bordeaux and Burgundy. His commitment to world-class winemaking at Rewa is grounded in sustainable leadership, empowerment, and a pursuit of excellence. Since purchasing Rewa in 2012, he has driven the estate’s mission to create extraordinary wines.

Amanda Arnold

VITICULTURIST

Amanda Arnold founded Vista Vineyard Services after years of mentorship under acclaimed vineyard manager Mike Wolf and a lifelong connection to agriculture. Blending tradition with cutting-edge viticulture, she leads with a hands-on, collaborative approach rooted in sustainability and respect—for the land, the vines, and the farmworkers who make it all possible.

Mike was raised just outside New York City and graduated from Alfred University with a Bachelor’s Degree in history. He was first exposed to agriculture after moving to Ukiah in 1972 to help a friend manage his family farm. He moved to Napa Valley to supervise a large agricultural development in Pope Valley and then accepted a prestigious role with Beckstoffer Vineyards to manage their heralded vineyards, totalling over 500 acres. It was there that he became well respected by the valley’s top winemakers, laying the groundwork for the launch of Mike Wolf Vineyard Management in 1997.

Celia Welch

DIRECTOR OF WINE MAKING

Born to wine-collecting parents in Oregon, Celia Welch studied Fermentation Science at UC Davis. She worked in vineyards worldwide before settling in Napa Valley, where she became one of the most respected winemakers in the industry. As a consultant, she selects only a small number of clients and has become a trailblazer for female winemakers globally.

jess McDowell

WINE MAKER

Jess discovered winemaking at UC Davis, shifting from dentistry to enology after a single course sparked a new path. Mentored by acclaimed winemaker Celia Welch, she honed her skills working on some of Napa’s most iconic wines. Now head winemaker at Rewa Vineyards in Coombsville, Jess crafts elegant, site-driven wines that reflect the region’s volcanic soils and cool climate. While collaborating closely with Celia Welch, she also contributes contributes to select Napa projects, all with a focus on small-lot expressions of place.
